You don’t have to carry this all on your own

At the heart of my therapy approach is the belief that everyone has the ability to heal, even from the deepest emotional wounds. With the right empathetic, professional support, you can overcome challenges and achieve lasting mental health and well-being.

I am Jennifer my pronouns are she/her .

I am an LCSW-S (Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor) and founder of Remarkable Wellness, with nearly 10 years of experience in various social work roles. My passion for therapy led me to create Remarkable Wellness, where I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their healing journey. Being a therapist is a calling I deeply honor, and I consider it a privilege to serve as a mirror for those seeking emotional growth and mental wellness.

Outside of therapy, I’m an avid reader, a devoted dog mom (who may pop up during virtual sessions), and a nature enthusiast. I am based in Dallas, Texas. As a lifelong learner, I’m continually expanding my knowledge, with my current focus on psychedelic-assisted therapy and plant medicine. I recently completed a 10-month training program at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, deepening my expertise in these emerging therapeutic practices.

My Identities

I am committed to creating an inclusive therapeutic space where individuals of all intersecting identities feel honored, valued, and met with empathy and care. My mental health practice welcomes everyone, including those who identify as LGBTQ2IA+, BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color), neurodivergent individuals, and people of all abilities, sizes, ages, and relationship structures. It’s essential that our work together is validating, allowing you to feel understood and supported.

As a cis-pan, white, highly sensitive female (she/her pronouns) with a strong awareness of the privileges associated with my identities, I am dedicated to continuous learning and unlearning. I have a special focus on supporting queer and highly sensitive individuals, ensuring that my therapeutic approach honors your unique experiences and fosters personal growth and healing.

Qualifications

Seeking support doesn’t mean you’re not enough or that you’re a burden; it means you’ve encountered challenging experiences that no one should have to face alone. By reaching out for help, you are taking a courageous step toward healing and personal growth.

In our practice, we create a validating space where I guide you in healing from past trauma. The environment we cultivate embraces humor, imagination, and openness. Together, we will experiment and collaborate to develop a comforting toolkit that strengthens your relationship with your intuition and helps you feel more at ease in your body as you process your trauma.
